Tempest, new collection 2007 of Samsung Staron®, is a solid surface specifically designed with a look that rivals natural stone and quartz. Unlike classic solid surface, Tempest features highly translucent particulate within the material. This creates a surface that has visual depth. Tempest provides benefits that stone surfaces don't, including a seamless appearance and its nonporous, hygienic properties.

A comprehensive promotional campaign has been launched since May 07. Besides the print ads appeared in several magazines, a TV commercial has been broadcasted in TVB Pearl. The 3 glaring colors, Sapphire, Spearmint and Paprika, were specially selected and fabricated into stone shapes, to highlight the look of natural quartz and the practicality of Tempest in the advertisement.
